I have a retail shop and I also do wholesale to a small number of suppliers. I’m trying to make our ecommerce site better and found Stampr and love that it’s free! But I have some questions.
I see I can create more than one online store. Could I use this to build a retail website and a separate wholesale website?
Another question I had was that I have shipping accounts with UPS and FedEx that give me discounted rates. Can I use those? I didn’t see a spot to enter the info.
And my last question is that I have a few employees that I’d like to be able to help manage the orders. Is it possible to create separate users for them?
Yes you could. There are a handful of ways to achieve this and this is one of them. Doing it this way will mean you’ll need to maintain two different sets of products, however, which may or may not work for you.
Depending on the number of wholesale orders you receive, you might be able to get by with having your wholesale customers use your retail store. Instead of making a purchase they would just create a cart with everything they want. Then you could invoice them based on their cart with the wholesale pricing. You can find their cart in their customer details screen:
We allow you to enter tracking codes for hundreds of carriers but currently we only support printing labels for USPS. This would mean you would have to print the label elsewhere and then copy the tracking code into Stampr.
This is something we’re actively working to improve but if you make a post in the Suggestions and feedback category it would probably speed things up.
This is coming! We’re currently rolling this out to selected users. If you’re interested in being part of a beta let me know and I’ll see what we can do.
