It says everywhere no credit card is required but it’s asking me for my credit card.
I apologize for the confusion. It’s true that Stampr is free to use and most of our users will never be asked for a credit card.
You’ll only be asked for a credit card if you’re attempting to sell an item from the Stampr Marketplace for less than your cost. e.g. you buy the product for $10 but want to sell it to your customer for $5. In this scenario we require a credit card that will be charged to cover the difference.
We’re actively working to make this better and plan to remove this requirement in the future. If you’d prefer not to enter a credit card just price the item for more than your cost and it should stop asking.
